AI CHI

Ai Chi is an integration between T’ai chi and Watsu, developed by the Japanese Jun Konno.

It is a new form of aquatic fitness that concentrates mainly on balance, core strength, flexability, relaxation and respiration. Ai Chi can be considered like a meditation in movement, that brings balance between our bodies and minds. In general, it is pracitced in group classes in a heated pool, using tranquil music to augment the relaxation.

The slow, ample movements of the arms and legs, co-ordinated with the respiration, helps to mobilize the body´s internal energy. Ai chi is a holistic therapy that affects the body, mind and spirit, and helps us in every aspect of our daily lives.
